Wisin & Yandel Gearing Up for Madison Square Gardens



San Juan, Puerto Rico.  May 27, 2008 – After a very successful run of concerts that were totally sold out in Massachusetts and Connecticut,  Urban Latin superstars Wisin & Yandel, are now gearing up to face their most demanding audience yet, at the Staples Arena in Los Angeles and Madison Square Garden in New York.

Wisin & Yandel will be presenting their mega production at the Staples Arena on May 30 and at the Garden on June 7th. Production Director Che Perez is working on the very complex production of the two shows with rich visual elements, sophisticated pyrotechnic and special effects which include moving stages, escalators, huge screens and hundreds of lights that will react to the rhythms of their explosive reggaeton hits that have made this Duo, stars all over the world.

On May 29th , Wisin & Yandel will be at the Hard Rock Café Universal City Walk  for an In Store, where they will be presenting their most recent musical production Wisin vs. Yandel : Los Extraterrestres – Otra Dimensión and signing autographs for their fans. The record hits the stores today and contains 5 new tracks including: Siguelo and Dame un Poquito; two hits that are already hitting the top charts of the music industry.    The activity is stated to begin at 7:00 pm.

WY Records also announced that a remix of Rider Part II, produced in collaboration with 50 Cent  and G-Unit, is now exclusively available for all the WY fans onwww.thisis50.com. The remix was produced in New York early this month. This is the first time 50 records with a reggaeton act and chose to do so given the unprecedented ascending career of this Dynamic Duo.

After concluding their stay in Los Angeles, Wisin & Yandel will travel to San Jose California to present at their show on May 31st. Then they will travel to the Big Apple to film a Mi TRL Show and present their new record in the Virgin Records Store on Union Square. Following these and other promotional commitments, Wisin & Yandel are scheduled to present their concert and participate in the Puerto Rican Day Parade where they will be the guest artists on the MTV Float.

 “We are very grateful for the level of support we have received from all our fans all over the world”, said Wisin after learning that all the concerts have sold out and there are barely any seats available in two of the most important arenas in the United States, Staples and the Garden. Yandel on his part reaffirmed their commitment to exceed the expectations of their fans and provide a show that will be that talk of the town long after they leave.
