Miami, FL, November 9, 2007.- Aventura shakes up the music market again with the release of their new album “Sold Out at Madison Square Garden”. This is the group’s first live recording of their September 1st concert performance at the celebrated New York City stadium.
With performances of “Hermanita”, “Amor de madre”, “Cuándo volverás” and “La boda” are a part of the album’s extensive repertoire, in addition to their must-have super hits “Los Infieles”, “El Perdedor” “El Beso”, and “Mi Corazoncito”. Special guest appearances by superstars Don Omar, Wisin and Yandel, Héctor Acosta “El Torito”, the Grammy award-winning Hip Hop violinist Miri Ben-Ari and Anthony Santos, among others garnered the concert where nothing was short of spectacular, from incredible special effects to the love of their fervent fans, that seemed to crescendo until it exploded in massive euphoria.
Unquestionably, Aventura is simply the best and has every right to claim that they have indeed broken all the rules. They are the first group to fuse R & B, hip-hop and other musical genres with the traditional bachata, performing their songs with remarkable success in both English and Spanish. They have been able to adapt their songs to conform to the unparallel rhythms of the genre as their lyrics speak of real life situations, involving audiences of all ages.
The group’s immense popularity can be attributed, in great part, to the perfect fusion attained through their music, with the clever mixture of Dominican musical culture and other Caribbean rhythms, and of course the infusion of their Latin values to the unique colorful mosaic found in the unmatched streets of New York.
Anthony Romeo Santos, Lenny Santos, Max Santos and Henry Santos are back, taking over the stage full force with nothing but the very best of their musical talent, confirming once again why they are the true Kings of Bachata.
“Sold Out at Madison Square Garden” is a Sony BMG Latin/Premium Latin Music Inc. release available in a double CD, DVD only and a Combo package (double CD + DVD)as of November 13th at all music stores.
