WISIN Y YANDEL FILMAN VIDEO DE SU NUEVO SENCILLO CON 50 CENT
NEW YORK, NY (12 de marzo, 2009) - Wisin y Yandel, los artistas de música latina urbana de mayor venta, acaban de filmar su nuevo video para el sencillo "Mujeres en el club" con el rapero de mayor venta a nivel mundial 50 Cent.
50 Cent grabó en el sencillo del dúo que impactará en la radio latina a finales de este mes. "Mujeres en el club" forma parte de la próxima producción discográfica de Wisin y Yandel "La Revolución", que estará a la venta a nivel mundial a partir del 26 de mayo.
Con este sencillo y su nuevo álbum, una vez más, Wisin y Yandel se proponen a revolucionar la industria musical con su sello único de música Latina urbana. "La Revolución" se compone de 18 temas musicales que cuentan con una fusión de géneros y estilos integrados como solo Wisin y Yandel pueden hacerlo. El álbum es una evolución natural para el dúo que ha disfrutado de diez años de trayectoria musical repleta de sencillos número uno, certificaciones de multi-platino, conciertos vendidos a capacidad y premios de gran prestigio.
El video de "Mujeres en el club" fue dirigido por el Director de Cine Jessy Terrero en un impresionante almacén en ruinas de la ciudad de Brooklyn, NY. En él, cuentan la historia de una ciudad que ha sido destruida y sus únicos sobrevivientes son Wisin, Yandel y 50 Cent. . . los líderes en sus respectivos géneros. El video se estrenará a finales de este mes.
"Wisin vs. Yandel: Los Extraterrestres" fue galardonado con un Grammy® por Mejor Album Latino Urbano (2009) y un Latin Grammy® por Mejor Album Urbano. La revista Billboard lo nombro el álbum número uno del 2008 (ventas y radio). El dúo actualmente tiene siete nominaciones al Premio Billboard Latino y cuatro nominaciones de Premios Lo Nuestro. Como si esto fuera poco, "Me Estas Tentando" el sencillo más reciente de Wisin y Yandel está en la posición #1 en la lista de Hot Latin Songs de Billboard.
En el 2008, Wisin y Yandel llenaron a capacidad el Staples Center de Los Angeles y el Madison Square Garden de Nueva York, tuvieron un lleno total en 12 conciertos en territorio Azteca y se presentaron ante una audiencia de 175,000 espectadores en Venezuela. Su gira internacional ha recibido tan buena acogida que, a petición popular, el dúo la ha extendido al 2009. Este mes estarán de gira en República Dominicana y México donde sus conciertos se están vendido en su totalidad. En Ciudad México lograron agotar los boletos del prestigioso Auditorio Nacional y acaban de abrir un nuevo espectáculo cuatro noches después en el Palacio de los Deportes.

Wisin & Yandel Gearing Up for Madison Square Gardens
San Juan, Puerto Rico. May 27, 2008 – After a very successful run of concerts that were totally sold out in Massachusetts and Connecticut, Urban Latin superstars Wisin & Yandel, are now gearing up to face their most demanding audience yet, at the Staples Arena in Los Angeles and Madison Square Garden in New York.
Wisin & Yandel will be presenting their mega production at the Staples Arena on May 30 and at the Garden on June 7th. Production Director Che Perez is working on the very complex production of the two shows with rich visual elements, sophisticated pyrotechnic and special effects which include moving stages, escalators, huge screens and hundreds of lights that will react to the rhythms of their explosive reggaeton hits that have made this Duo, stars all over the world.
On May 29th , Wisin & Yandel will be at the Hard Rock Café Universal City Walk for an In Store, where they will be presenting their most recent musical production Wisin vs. Yandel : Los Extraterrestres – Otra Dimensión and signing autographs for their fans. The record hits the stores today and contains 5 new tracks including: Siguelo and Dame un Poquito; two hits that are already hitting the top charts of the music industry. The activity is stated to begin at 7:00 pm.
WY Records also announced that a remix of Rider Part II, produced in collaboration with 50 Cent and G-Unit, is now exclusively available for all the WY fans onwww.thisis50.com. The remix was produced in New York early this month. This is the first time 50 records with a reggaeton act and chose to do so given the unprecedented ascending career of this Dynamic Duo.
After concluding their stay in Los Angeles, Wisin & Yandel will travel to San Jose California to present at their show on May 31st. Then they will travel to the Big Apple to film a Mi TRL Show and present their new record in the Virgin Records Store on Union Square. Following these and other promotional commitments, Wisin & Yandel are scheduled to present their concert and participate in the Puerto Rican Day Parade where they will be the guest artists on the MTV Float.
“We are very grateful for the level of support we have received from all our fans all over the world”, said Wisin after learning that all the concerts have sold out and there are barely any seats available in two of the most important arenas in the United States, Staples and the Garden. Yandel on his part reaffirmed their commitment to exceed the expectations of their fans and provide a show that will be that talk of the town long after they leave.
